SilverStone Launches Seta H2 Full-Tower Workstation Case
SilverStone has recently introduced the Seta H2, a full-tower workstation case that focuses on storage capacity rather than flashy lighting or tempered glass. This design pays homage to late-1990s aesthetics.
The interior of the Seta H2 has a volume of 70 liters, allowing for the installation of up to 15 HDDs. This is made possible by seven removable brackets located behind the front panel, which can accommodate both 2.5 and 3.5-inch drives. Additionally, there are two extra mounts on the interior panel, a two-bay cage in front of the power supply, two 2.5-inch slots behind the motherboard tray, and a final bracket that can hold either one 3.5-inch or two 2.5-inch drives.
Despite its large drive capacity, the Seta H2 is compatible with E-ATX and SSI-EEB motherboards, supports virtually unlimited CPU cooler heights, and can accommodate graphics cards up to 428 mm long. The case requires a clearance of only 330 mm if a side-panel radiator or a drive bracket is installed at the GPU level.
Component flexibility is further enhanced by an eight-slot expansion area and support for power supplies up to 289 mm. Cooling options include space for three 120 or 140 mm fans in the front, one in the rear, two 160 mm or 140 mm fans on top, and two 120 mm fans on the side. Removable brackets allow for the mounting of a 360 or 420 mm radiator at the front or top (up to 65 mm thick).
The chassis, constructed of steel and plastic, weighs 15.2 kg and features front I/O with USB-C, two USB 3.0 ports, and HD audio. The Seta H2 is priced starting at around €200 in Europe and approximately $216 in the US.
