MaxSun Expands Arc Pro B60 Dual GPU Lineup with New Cooling Options
MaxSun has unveiled two new variants in its Arc Pro B60 Dual GPU series, further enhancing options for professionals seeking high-performance graphics solutions. Each card integrates a pair of Intel Arc Pro B60 GPUs, delivering a combined total of 40 Xe2 cores and an impressive 48 GB of GDDR6 memory. These specifications position the cards as powerful tools for AI inference, local development, and demanding workstation tasks.
Passive Cooling for Server Environments
The first new variant features a passively cooled design tailored for dual-slot server configurations. This model is optimized for high-airflow chassis, where server fans direct air efficiently across the card. Such a setup enables the installation of multiple GPUs in parallel, making it ideal for data centers and enterprise environments that require scalable compute resources without the noise or complexity of active cooling solutions.
Liquid-Cooled Edition: Compact and Efficient
The highlight of the new lineup is the liquid-cooled edition, which stands out for its compact dimensions—measuring just 300 x 110 x 20 mm and occupying a single slot. This streamlined profile is made possible by the water-cooling system, allowing several cards to be installed closely together in dense enclosures. The liquid-cooled model is particularly advantageous in workstations or servers where space and airflow are at a premium.
Developed in collaboration with abee, the liquid-cooled Arc Pro B60 Dual GPU maintains a TDP of 400 W, consistent with both the passive and fan-equipped versions. However, users can expect slightly improved performance thanks to the enhanced thermal stability provided by liquid cooling. MaxSun reports peak GPU temperatures of approximately 61°C when the card is integrated into a cooling loop, though specific loop characteristics have not been disclosed. The design includes two hose barbs and a 12V-2x6 power connector on the rear edge, as well as a fan header for auxiliary cooling control.
Versatile Connectivity and Scalable Performance
Each GPU on the card is equipped with its own DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 2.1a connector, resulting in a total of four display outputs per card. This configuration supports multi-monitor setups and high-resolution displays, catering to professionals in fields such as content creation, simulation, and visualization. The single-slot bracket further enhances installation flexibility, enabling users to maximize compute and memory capacity by fitting multiple GPUs within a single workstation or server chassis.
With these new additions, MaxSun’s Arc Pro B60 Dual GPU lineup offers robust solutions for both server and workstation environments, combining high memory capacity, efficient cooling options, and versatile connectivity to meet the evolving needs of AI, development, and professional graphics workloads.
