NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Founders Edition Revealed
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Founders Edition has been unveiled, featuring a standard Founders Edition design that is smaller than the RTX 4080 FE. Unlike the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti, which did not receive a Founders Edition and relied on add-in-card (AIC) partners to create custom designs, the RTX 4070 will be available as a Founders Edition. This puts pressure on NVIDIA AIC partners, as the RTX 4070 FE will be sold at $599.99.
The RTX 4070 will be the third Founders Edition graphics card in the RTX 40 series lineup. It is a dual-slot, dual-fan graphics card with a V-shaped PCB, and it is smaller than the RTX 4080 FE, similar to the RTX 3070 FE. NVIDIA has equipped it with a single, center-placed, 16-pin PCIe 12VHPWR connector, although custom versions will be available with both standard 8-pin or 16-pin power connectors. It has one HDMI 2.1 and three DisplayPort 1.4 display outputs.
The original renders of the RTX 4070 came from Videocardz, and David Giannis shared additional pictures showing the front and power connector. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 is still scheduled to launch on April 13th, priced at $599.99.
