MediaTek Introduces New Wi-Fi 7 Solutions: Filogic 860 and Filogic 360

MediaTek, a pioneer in Wi-Fi 7 technology, has expanded its Wi-Fi 7 portfolio with the launch of Filogic 860 and Filogic 360. These second-generation solutions aim to enhance MediaTek's range of cutting-edge products that utilize the latest connectivity advancements, offering peak performance and reliable connectivity.

Filogic 860 is a dual-band access point that combines Wi-Fi 7 technology with an advanced network processor. It is suitable for enterprise access points, service provider Ethernet gateways, mesh nodes, retail, and IoT router applications. Filogic 360, on the other hand, is a stand-alone client solution that integrates Wi-Fi 7 2x2 and dual Bluetooth 5.4 radios in a single chip. It is designed to provide next-generation Wi-Fi 7 connectivity to edge devices, streaming devices, and various consumer electronics.

Filogic 860 is an ideal platform for dual-band Wi-Fi 7 access points, routers, and mesh nodes in the enterprise and retail markets. It features a triple-core Arm Cortex-A73 CPU that supports powerful hardware acceleration for advanced tunneling and security features, meeting the requirements of enterprises and service providers.

The MediaTek Filogic 860 and Filogic 360 solutions are currently being sampled to customers, with mass production expected to begin in mid-2024.
