QNAP Unveils High-Capacity TS-hx77AXU-RP ZFS NAS Series

QNAP Systems, Inc., a leading computing and storage solutions innovator, has announced the release of the new TS-hx77AXU-RP ZFS NAS series. This series includes the 12-bay TS-h1277AXU-RP and 16-bay TS-h1677AXU-RP rackmount models, both powered by AMD Ryzen 7000 Series processors based on the cutting-edge AMD Socket AM5 platform. The TS-hx77AXU-RP series is designed to deliver enterprise-level performance, ultra-high bandwidth, and trusted reliability for various applications such as Tier 2 storage, virtualization, 4K video editing, and PB-level storage.

The TS-h1277AXU-RP is a 2U rackmount model with twelve 3.5-inch HDD / 2.5-inch SSD SATA drive bays, while the TS-h1677AXU-RP is a 3U rackmount model with sixteen 3.5-inch HDD / 2.5-inch SSD SATA drive bays. Both models feature AMD Ryzen 7000 Series processors, built-in AMD Radeon Graphics for video processing and graphical computing, and support up to 128 GB DDR5 RAM for multitasking workloads. They also include M.2 PCIe Gen 5 slots for cache acceleration, 2.5GbE and 10GBASE-T ports for large bandwidth, and PCIe Gen 4 expansion slots for various expansion cards.

The TS-hx77AXU-RP series runs on the QuTS hero operating system and utilizes the ZFS file system, which prioritizes data integrity with features like Self-healing and WORM. It supports up to 65,536 snapshots and inline data deduplication for maximizing storage efficiency. Real-time SnapSync enables businesses to deploy a zero RPO disaster recovery plan by achieving real-time data synchronization between two NAS.
